Housing 黑料吃瓜网 Group has donated 拢1,025 to Bomere Heath Cricket Club.
The affordable housing provider made the donation to the cricket club from its My Community Fund, which supports a wide range of projects run by voluntary groups and organisations in Shropshire, Staffordshire and Telford.听
The money helped to fund the cricket club鈥檚 summer camp which sees more than 50 children take part in activities, learn skills and make new friends during the school holidays.听
Run by volunteers from the cricket club, the camp engages children aged between five and 12 in sport and play as well as arts and crafts and nature hunts.听
This year the summer camp ran from July 30 to August 1, with activities such as circus skills, dance and drama and cricket coaching funded by Housing 黑料吃瓜网 Group.听
Rebecca Preece, one of the summer camp co-ordinators, said: 鈥淲e were absolutely delighted by Housing 黑料吃瓜网 Group鈥檚 donation. This year we had some brilliant activities for the children and we couldn鈥檛 have run some of these without it, we were thrilled.听
鈥淭he camp is a massive help for parents in the village who are working through the school holidays and it鈥檚 a great opportunity for children to get together, take part in healthy activities and learn new skills.听听
鈥淚t鈥檚 good fun, the kids just love it and they can鈥檛 wait to come back again each year.鈥�听
The summer camp ends with a barbecue for all the children who took part and their families.听听
